These are some various projects involving 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, CNC Mills, and an assortment of other Digital Fabrication techniques
When we show our game, Mister Mart, at conventions, players sometimes hit the "home" button on the Oculus Rift Touch Controllers. This is annoying, as they often times have no idea what happens, and it brings the game to a grinding halt. To solve this problem, we implemented a pause feature, and I designed a 3D printable cover to bolt onto the controller itself, and block the player from pressing the button by accident. This design worked wonderfully, but there are still some problems to fix.
My friend Diosi suffers from migraines. He finds an eyepatch helps, but the store bought cloth and cardboard ones are severely lacking, especially in hot weather. I suggested we 3D scan his face, using an Artec EVA scanner we have at the fab lab, then 3D print him a strong, form fitting replacement. Develpment is ongoing, but these inital results are promising, with the eyepatch being very comfortable and strong.

These are Lasercut Prototypes for a table I made out of Plywood on the CNC. The Lasercutter makes it easy to prototype these projects, and test different designs.
